See, I I understand your thinking (and DW has always been teatime viewing for me, since the very beginning). That said, I found that I really looked forward to watching each weekly Season One episode by myself before watching the live screening on BBC with my family later. It became a thing of joy for me. No distractions (someone is sure to speak or want the episode paused at some point when I watch during its terrestrial slot). Pure DW. Ahhhh bliss! And then I get to enjoy it all over again, a few hours later, with everyone else!
Absolutely right! And, can I just point out that I never agreed with the bitching about gay agendas or excessive complexity. I know youāre not suggesting I did, but I noticed that the quotes make it look like thatās what I was saying. Iāve loved it all (to varying degrees, but itās always varying degrees of joy) and have no truck with the bigoted views of some and the (apparently) limited attention span of others. I respect that Moffat trusted kids to follow his storylines (often better than monkey-brain adults) and I adored RTD including more diversity from the very beginning. Both dared to write stories and go places with ideas that had not been done before. Then along came Chibnall and broke down yet more barriers (to the predictable chagrin of certain vocal quarters once more). So far as Iām concerned, itās all good (and, usually, truly joyous)!
Another benefit is that you can potentially answer the inevitable questions with something other than āI donāt knowā.
Totally not my intention.
Or was itā¦
I love that bit!
Them showing 14⦠Please god donāt let him show upā¦
Surprised thereās not any Mrs Flood in there, thereās some stuff which I think is definitely included because itāll be relevant in S2.
Donāt you know what RTD stands for? Recall Tennant Directive
Return To David
Recall Tennant Directive 2: Revenge of the David
Tennant⦠Fourteennant⦠Canāt wait for David Sixtennant!
That was a pretty good recap
Yeah, I am curious as to how relevant Susan Triad will be in Series 15. I think it would be sort of interesting if the UNIT crew were still apprehensive about her in some way.
About Tennant, idk about yall but if hes actually the 16th doctor then thats such a desperate move from BBC.
He wonāt be / isnāt.
He will not be the 16th
Still cant get over the fact they only announced her return on Instagram and Facebook⦠no proper article on the Doctor Who account or twitter etc⦠Weird!
