You don’t want to be trapped in Doctor Who Magazine?
Well, not if it meant I could be trapped there forever.
I went to Barnes & Noble looking for the current issue with the book included. They didn’t have it, but did have the previous two. The last one has a booklet of RTD’s series 1 production diary. Is that worth picking up?
Wait are you in the US? I’m asking because I’ve seen the DWM bookazines at an in-person Barnes and Noble sometimes (9 ish years ago and also a few months ago), but I’ve never seen standard DWM there.
Sure am. The B&N nearest me has the bookazines but not regular DWM. The next-nearest one had April and May’s issues (the only magazine I saw with two issues, funnily) but no bookazines.
oh gosh… oh no…
someone really should have checked that layout better [1]
unless they did. but I won’t think about that any longer ↩︎
This reminds me of when the writer behind DWM’s Watcher articles got fired for hiding unsavoury secret messages in his articles
Ooh, Target novelization of The Wheel in Space inside!
That’s the only reason I bought it, lol. [1] It’s newly re-edited. I’m not big on the concept of new Target novelizations, but I like the option for missing and partially missing stories.
I like the occasional DWM article but the fact of the matter is it’s a magazine-length advertisement the BBC has somehow conned us into paying for. ↩︎
But there’s a comic
The comics get collected eventually! I prefer to read them like that instead of in monthly installments.
Money well spent mmm hmm
Oh, I thought you bought is because you wanted to read the exciting SEASON FINALE PREVIEW!
uuuuuuuuuuugh I need the new issue now! the 20th anniversary unleashed gave me no closure on the finale and I need some sort of update… when does the new issue come out? (Also, sad I’m in America cause this is the 2nd Target Novelization I’ve missed)
I’ll go check
@mvancore it’s out on the 19th
Thank you! Where did you find this info, so I can find it for next time?
