Inconsistency can definitely arise, especially if you do the full one, and especially if that’s not in a single sitting, where you may be in a different state of mind from sitting to sitting. Depending at what point you make a “mistake,” that can actually change something’s position by a huge amount. But that’s why for my official rankings, the PR isn’t the end of ranking, just the start.

The inconsistency is fine for me, cause I’m not usually a rankings kind of girl. Lists yes, but my opinions are creatures of their own I could never hope to understand

Same, the reasons I rate thing differenly varies wildly from episode to episode, and having a One True Ranking is something I don’t think I could ever achieve because different episodes do different things for me

Pretty accurate ranking, tbh the top 4 could be in any order and it would still be right. Personally I prefer tier lists over numerical rankings, I just find it easier than worrying which episode is slightly better than another.

The full, 329-story, 2025 post-Series 15 ranking has been completed. My TG scores have been updated accordingly, as well as my top 100 (favorites, both parts of two-parters so it doesn’t equal exactly 100). I can give a more detailed breakdown tomorrow.

Well, posting the entire ranking as a reply to the thread would be insanely long, so I’ve made a quick Excel sheet that has my rankings, ratings, and curved ratings.
Now, I know what your first question is. “What do you mean ‘curved ratings?’” I have ranked everything in order, and have assigned a score out of 10 to each story based on my own opinions. The curve essentially puts the two together, assigning a new score out of 10 based on the position in the ranking. It puts the average of the scores exactly in the middle at 5.5 out of 10 (well, a tiny bit closer to 6 because there’s an odd number). Here is the distribution of both scores:
What the curve does is help to make comparisons between different groups of stories more visible.
10 and 1 are the top and bottom 5%
9 and 2 are the next 7.5% inwards on each side
8 and 3 the next 10% in
7 and 4 the next 12.5% in
6 and 5 are the remaining middle 30%
Anyway, here’s the spreadsheet (my personal one is a lot more messy and complex than this though). I would upload the .xlsx file so you could all sort it or analyze it however you like, but I can’t, so it’ll just have to be a pdf, may need to do some zooming to see it.

I’m not a huge fan of it, although I probably wouldn’t put it bottom. It does drag a bit and some parts of it don’t work as well as they could.

Another TARDIS/Delta disagreement then. I don’t think it drags at all, think it keeps the tension and momentum going the whole way through. I’ll admit the solution that beat the Daleks at the end was a little rushed and easy though, probably my main point against it. But overall, I think it’s solid.
