The only person now who can be in two sets is Rose Tyler as she’s a mother according to The Turning of the Tide but let’s forget that ever existed!
Well she has a child in Empire of the Wolf as well.
Through brute force…
Did the categories make sense in the end though?
The NYTimes might need to hold off before hiring me…
I do have more ideas though. But I might wait after this influx of Connections.
Yes they did. And actually somewhat “well, no shit, of course” once I saw the answer.
I wasn’t clicking randomly, honest.
Martha, SJS, and Jack are also TV characters with BF boxes
Wait Shirley’s actor was in Doctor Who before? I never knew that
As far as I know, she played a Sixth Doctor companion for Big Finish.
You’re right! Ok I give up on making these haha
I actually like yours and think that you do a lot of clever things with them
Very good work:
I knew what the connections were for box set and been in another role but you had some clever red herrings.
The thing about having all the options be characters (as opposed to a mix of objects, pre/suffixes, and general wordplay like in regular connections), especially in this large a franchise, is that there’s always gonna be a second set of answers. For instance, here’s what my brain convinced itself was absolutely the right answer:
DOCTORS
Grace O’Brien, Martha Jones, Twelfth Doctor, River Song
CHARACTERS WHOSE ONSCREEN DEATH IS NOT THEIR FINAL APPEARANCE
Captain Jack Harkness, Ruby Sunday, Amy Pond, Jackie Tyler
CHARACTERS WHO GOT THEIR OWN BF SERIES
Bernice Summerfield, Sarah Jane Smith, Jenny, Rose Tyler
RTD CHARACTERS
Clyde Langer, Belinda Chandra, Shirley Ann Bingham, Lady Christina
Except:
Hiding details because it’s easier than all the spoiler tags
Grace is a nurse, not a Doctor. (This is Ryan’s gran). The Twelfth Doctor is not a Doctor in that sense. And River Song is sometimes a professor.
Ruby Sunday doesn’t die on screen? Apart from a fake-out. Neither does our universe Jackie.
RTD characters covers way more than that, also the BF series one (but I know that happens)
