I got tired of wanting to constantly change my wallpaper to a different Doctor, so I made this with the gallery widgets. I used to have the app from the NASA to change everyday my wallpaper with the astronomy picture of the day, but my dad exchanged my phone with his, and in this phone sometimes i would go three days before i realized that the images didn’t changed or instead of changing to the picture of the day it would just go to one of those basic wallpapers the phone has when they’re new so i just chosed one of the ones that i had saved and left it at that.
(The sonic that is in the screen with the Doctors 7-11 is actually an app i use a lot)
I also thought why stop at Doctor Who, so I also added two of my favorite bands: Ice Nine Kills and The Warning.
Thanks to finding this thread I have decided to change my phone wallpaper from the stock one to a doctor who themed one. Maybe that picture my friend sent me of David Tennant throwing a crab.
The 3D TARDIS Live Wallpaper app is amazing and when I had a smartphone, I used it on everything. It never left my digital tablet’s installed apps, of which I had longer than any smartphone. It was available last month when I looked but after over 10 years, it seems to have been taken down, probably by the BBC. APKs for it, however are easily searchable online.
(I had paid for all the additional components because it was made by a single independent developer.)
Anybody who has installed it before can access it in Google Play history in their library and filtering by “not installed” apps. So I can still download it.
