and
b) going to a room labelled CLASSIFIED sounds like a marvellously bad idea, so we’re going with that!

You find yourself in a makeshift laboratory with a prototype device similar to the one you arrived through. The room features a display showing Alexander the Great as an “EXTRACTION TARGET.” Accidentally triggering a control causes the lift doors to close, and a red light flashes.

I’m enjoying this one more. I think it helps that we’re playing ‘us’ as it were rather than controlling the universe or making decisions for the Doctor. The prose seems far better written for this type of book.
