Alien Arena - Page 1

You suddenly experience a strange electrical sensation, and in a flash of light, you find yourself on a bizarre, high-tech platform surrounded by transparent columns filled with purple liquid. A tiny angry man (Mr. Big) scolds a giant insect-like creature for accidentally summoning you instead of a legendary human warrior. The creature, clearly terrified, prepares to fix its mistake by using a strange device on you.

  • To make a dash for the doorway
  • To reason with the grasshopper creature

Okay, first off. Interesting beginning. We donā€™t start with the Doctor this time around, and itā€™s written in the second person! Thatā€™s nice.

Secondly, if I were in this situation I would probably freeze and do nothing, but if Iā€™m calm enough to think of two options, I would probably think of running as the better option, but my brain would make me blabber stuff in hopes of reasoning with the alien, and I like to think of this child as a version of me, which is why he tries to reason with the alien.
