You can find commentaries per episode by going to the list of episodes, clicking on an episode, then clicking on “see all clips from etc.”, and then the commentary.
Or less conveniently, by looking at all the clips here (filter by all/per series) (wow a Dreamland commentary)
Anyway I find googling easier, but nice to have a more deterministic option.

Just watched The Impossible Astronaut with the DVD commentary. It’s a mixed bag but Arthur Darvill comes out with some truly brilliant one-liners - it’s very rare that I laugh out loud at a commentary track! So that’s made me really want an update on his podcast with Karen…
Watched the Mawdryn Undead commentary last weekend and it left quite a sour taste in my mouth. It’s Peter Davison, Eric Saward, Mark Strickson and Nick Courtney, and poor Nick just feels like a total accessory.
It felt like he was a bit out of his depth as he had relatively few meaningful anecdotes, and obviously didn’t know the 80’s crew as much as say Katy, Terrance and Barry so the chemistry really wasn’t there. It’s almost as if the other three would have had a better time without him.
Most comments or followups that he made went without reply and no one really bothered to talk about the few points he raised, I did feel really sorry for him. Probably the most aggravating bit of this was the end of part 3, where just before the credits roll, Peter says he’s gonna see how many crew members’ names he recognises, and as the credits start, Nick starts to complain about the state of modern credits, in that they’re tiny and scroll way too fast so that you can barely see who has worked on a certain production. Valid point, if a little nitpicky, but gets entirely ignored by Peter who just keeps reading people’s names who he recognises. The only time so far I’ve cringed during a commentary.
You could also really Peter was gagging for Janet to be there as well, just for someone to play off of, as Mark was trying to play a moderator role and Eric usually just talks in quips and sarcasm, his usual routine.
Not one that I’d recommend honestly, especially if you’re a Nick fan. I think he’s severely thrown under the bus here.
I recently decided to work my way through all the commentaries again on the Collection sets (and listening to them for the first time if they’re new). I have been having to make personal notes on the stories in TG to keep track of what I have listened to so far. I would love if there was a way to track these more formally (but I understand adding NF DVD features would be opening a bit of a pandora’s box).
There are some excellent examples mentioned in this thread so far. My favorite commentary moment is the cricket sequence from Black Orchid - you can tell Peter is really looking forward to sharing an observation and delivers it very well.
The other standout line for me is a Tom one from The Ark in Space. Four jaunty buttocks, indeed!

I’ve taken to using the Notes feature to keep track of which features I’ve completed.
It is on that release, although it is slowed down and pitch lowered to match the regular tracks.
That sounds really good. Good to know I am not alone for putting those notes fields to use for this!
