Tbh alien bodies is my next EDA book so if they did do that it would kinda be iconic and be perfect for me
However I do think the downfall of this range was the lack of easy jumping on points for the wider audience of listeners so if alien bodies is a good starting point then it’s probs perfect

This is my problem with Nightshade (which also gives Ace a bf) as well. I think Love and War the book does it slightly better because their time spent together feels so much longer but it’s still not great. I just don’t buy that Ace would fall for someone so quickly and completely.

The Highest Science pts 1+2: mostly making this post before I finish the whole thing so I can complain. I was so sure I was more than halfway through this when the last theme tune rolled and yet… I have tried to listen to this one before and I got maybe 1/3 through it so I’ll see it to completion this time but ohhh my god this is such a nothingy story. I’m not hating it but it’s just like, treading water. I feel like nothing is happening and I don’t see why I should care about it

I guess I’ll check out the original Nightshade, I only know of it from a YouTube video reviewing it so never knew how much they changed other than the ending
