Having just listened to the podcast myself, I can confirm this being true.
PLEASE l NEED ROMANA I DONāT CARE WHICH
Would the Coldstream Romana do?
Maybe as some hideous alternative universe version
PODCAST NOTES:

- Benji saw an article this week that vinyl is on its way out and that the younger generation is starting to be interested in CDs again. Nick said if CDs at Big Finish became popular again theyād make more, but they just donāt have the sales right now to justify it.

What Big Finish I Was Listening to This Week: Finished The Story Demon and listened to all of The War Doctor: Fallen Heroes and Hooklight 2. All three were absolutely amazing, especially Fallen Heroes and Hooklight 2. I canāt believe Big Finish released two of their best sets in recent memory in the same week.
Random Tangents: Nick talks about an experience of going on holiday where the airline he flew down with to Bermuda went bankrupt while he was there, so their return flight suddenly didnāt exist.
Iām glad theyāve reiterated it again, because it does irk me to constantly see people berate them for it when theyāre a small company that cannot justify such expenses if the demand isnāt there.
OH!!! This is very exciting.
YESSS!! Do you hear that @BSCTDrayden? Big Day for us Macqueeners!!!
Vinyl is already on its way out after the resurgence a few years ago? Wow.
Iām shocked too, Iāve loved getting vinyl over the last few years and still do when an album drops for one of my faves, or an album I like.
Yeah, the only physical releases Iāve bought are vinyl (9th Doctor, Dalek Universe & Iāve picked up some of the limited ones through 3rd party sellers).
The biggest problem with Vinyl is that itās become so damn expensive. It got popular and the price skyrocketed.
Also, large artists/labels are hogging pressing plants, so smaller labels donāt have a chance to get vinyl pressed.
Understandable. Admittedly Iām a part of the statistic as Iāve long since stopped buying vinyl (but the bands I like are old school so I was only buying used). I do recall how expensive the new albums were though when Iād sift through the record stores.
Iāve seen some people buy a record or two without even having a player; they wanted a physical copy of an album they liked just to say they had it or because they admired the cover art. These days itās difficult to justify spending the money on something that will sit on a shelf collecting dust.
Thatās technically me! I bought my copy of Julien Bakerās Little Oblivions thinking our old record player still worked; sadly, it doesnāt. I still have the record, of course ā I even have it on my wall! But have never played it
FERAL NOISES THATS MY BOY !!!
lower case
Although from a general trend point of view vinyl may be on its way out, I only got a turntable and starting buying records a year ago, and I still think itās neat (I love physical media). That being said, I have no desire to buy Big Finish audios on vinyl, because I tend to listen to those when traveling.
Yeah Iāve never found the appeal for BF vinyls myself either as I prefer listening with headphones! But I can see the want to collect them, theyāre lovely to collect and they even did exclusive artworks for some I believe.
Iāve only just realised that the actor plays one of the dads in the inbetweeners (which i loved growing up)
If I got a BF vinyl, itād have to be Torchwood, and Iād probably just hang it somewhere or something cuz I never plan on owning a vinyl player
Yes, the one who definitey isnāt gay..
