I have a bug to report regarding the “Rate X Number of Stories With Character Badges”. I tried to earn the “Sontar-ha” badge on New Year’s Eve, but it didn’t register when I rated fifteen stories. When I later rated two more Sontaran stories, it registered. Since I had skipped two Sontaran stories, I think the badge is activating according to the difference, not the total as advertised. @shauny

I decided to decode the secret motto in Latin on the bottom of the badge image, to see if it might offer any insight into the future purpose of the badge…
Translation:
It means “I seek [a] good man” in Latin. It’s a hidden River Song joke! 
I think that the badge has something to do with verifying the veracity of listing information. Or maybe winning a trivia contest.
