Ooooooo nice!!!
I need to get my head down and write to get that badge lmao
New Badge Alert Klaxon
For a limited time only you can unlock the All I Want for Christmas is Who badge by completing, reviewing, or repeating a Christmas story on the 24th, 25th, or 26th December.
It’s based on the UK time zone so that starts in just over 30 minutes and lasts for 3 days.
Most people will unlock it for rating Joy to the World on Christmas Day, but there are loads of other stories you can use to unlock it!
The image for this badge was designed by @YoungCodger and I think it’s beautiful
That is brilliant - well done @YoungCodger! Look forward to getting this after watching Joy to the World!
I’ll probably rewatch one of the previous Christmas specials, because I’ve got no idea when I’ll have a chance to watch “Joy To the World”, but I can definitely watch the older ones, and I’ve been thinking about how I don’t remember some of them well.
Are we going with the definition that Whodle uses, which includes pretty much anything with snow, such as “Thin Ice”, “Unquiet Dead”, and “Turn Left”, as well as ones that actually were on Christmas, or just actual Christmas specials?
I’d absolutely be down for rewatching Unquiet Dead…
I used this “story type” filter.
It does include The Unquiet Dead
Looks good to me!
Well, I guess I’ll have to “bah humbug” my way through something Christmas-y.
Well I deliberately included Reviews so you could even write a short review of a Christmas episode you don’t like, to get the badge…
Ho ho ho
Delaying my War Games in Colour review another 10 minutes then lmao
WAIT I MISSED IT HAS TO BE A CHRlSTMAS STORY, DRAT
I’ve got one of those!
I might have cheated: I completed A Perfect Christmas from The Wintertime Paradox yesterday, but marked it completed today. Oops!
Completed and rated Joy to the World…
Where’s my badge???
It might take a while to show up, be patient
I’ve looked into this and found the problem!
Because you’d previously saved the story, when you went and completed it, it uses the date that you saved it, not the date you completed it…
A bug I need to fix if I’m going to do time-sensitive badges… argh. Oh well, you should earn the badge now!
Oh yeah, I think I’ve encountered this before when marking a story as collected as well. Was a bit confused when I marked a story as completed and it didn’t show up in my recently completed.
I’ve changed it now so that whenever you make a change it updates the date to now.
I didn’t want to do that because then you can’t tell when you first completed it.
But I’ll put on the roadmap a way to log that separately.
