Vince Cosmos is already on the guide.
I still have a lot to go through with Magrs as an author, but overall he rarely disappoints me.
I love Katy Manning’s Iris. The Wormery is a lovely fun story that stuck with me and she and Panda are fantastic in Muse of Fire. I don’t know much about the other Irises, but this incarnation portraits so much emotion through little details in her relationship with the Doctor and I truly believe in it; it feels earnest.
The Stones of Venice is a 10/10 for me. It’s not perfect, specially because of how it handles its main plot and secondary characters, but there is a fairytale feel to it that really speaks to me. There is something magical about the city of Venice there and that romantic - in the literary - feel of Eight and Charley’s adventures is just my jam. I also like the stories he wrote for Lucie, Horror of Glam Rock is really fun and overall The Zygon Who Fell to Earth is enjoyable.
He also wrote The Lady of Mercia and The Peterloo Massacre, two of my favorite Fifth Doctor stories. His main range output is great, but there is two exceptions: I have mixed feelings about The Boy That Time Forgot (I don’t like how it handles Adric), and I dislike The Wishing Beast/The Vanity Box. It’s an uninspired story with an uncomfortable atmosphere and irritating side characters. Six and Mel are fine there, but unremarkable. One of the few Six and Mel stories in the main range I don’t like. He also wrote The Mindless Ones for the Hebe arc, and I didn’t like that story either, unfortunately.
