Another story that feels like a whole load of nothing.

A nice central idea gives way to a capital-G generic Doctor Who script; it’s fun enough but so un-ground-breaking it may as well be the planet’s core.

Swear to god I have actually listened to all of these but this is one I yet again have zero memory of. And I gave it 2* so that tells you all you need to know I think

I’m probably a party of one on this audio, but I thought it was fantastic. It kept my attention the entire way through and I liked the concept and characters. It’s a five out of five audio for me.

Once again, a lacklustre Five audio. Peri and Erimem can’t save it, but Deborah Watling makes it bearable. Interesting themes buried under a nothing plot. I almost fell asleep.

5/10

Three’s a Crowd starts with compelling emotional stakes and a provocative sci-fi premise – a society so isolated its people can’t bear physical contact – but fumbles both. The story plods through exposition-heavy scenes and never capitalises on its themes. The alien menace is derivative, the tension minimal, and the worldbuilding frustratingly shallow. Only Deborah Watling’s Aunty brings any spark to this sluggish outing. A lonely colony of isolated colonists may be a clever idea, but this audio drama leaves you wishing you’d remained in the historicals.

I remember this one having a nice idea but not really doing it service

A whole load of nothing like the others have said. What really drops it from a load of nothing to borderline torture for me personally is Bellip, who reminds me of the most ridiculously impossible people that I have to deal with at work.

I went in expecting to dislike it due to the general consensus, and the fact its early 5, however I quite enjoyed this one. A tad too long and drawn out, but I enjoyed it for sure 3.5/5.
