“What shall we do with the characters you don’t want to play, Nick?”
“Oh, just give those to old Brooker in the corner there…”
(Bonus points to anyone who knows what that image and quote are from…)
Looks like Sam Kelly in the middle & I recognise the woman to his right. But sorry, no points for me
It is indeed Sam Kelly.
It’s from a mockumentary about the making of Acorn Antiques which was part of Victoria Wood As Seen on TV - bloody hilarious from beginning to end. Julie Walters is magnificent in it.
Mrs. Overall!
[desperately thinking of a way of getting this back on topic…Julie Walters…worked alongside Victoria Wood with Celia Imrie, Thelma Barlow and Anne Reid who have all had roles in the modern series…which also featured Nicholas Briggs as the Daleks…which he plays in Dalek Empire…]
Phew, back on track…
I think this is my favourite episode so far. 8/10. Really liked sound design in this for some reason
I am with @sircarolyn on this: This Episode actually did a lot for me. While the first two Entries were by no means bad, I must admit I was a bit weary going to the third Episode, so I am happy to report: I liked it!
Suz is as always a great Character, and this Episode especially puts her in a very intriguing Moral Position, which is easily the Highlight here! Kalendorf is also especially great here, in the former two Entries, he didn’t do much if anything for me, if I am being honest, but quite enjoyed his Interactions with Suz.
That said, there are a few Things that hold this Release still back. I agree with what others have said, the whole Timeskip was done very clumsily and didn’t do much at the End. And I really don’t care for the entire Romances between Alby and Suz. Also, the amount of Characters is a bit overwhelming. Still, it made me go “Oooo” for the very first Time with one of its Cliffhangers, so that’s a good Sign at least!
