Guys, does anyone else think that the 15th NEEDS a story in the Puffin Classics saga? I love the idea of this series, the wonderful doctor of Oz was one of the coolest readings I had in the expanded universe, I really wanted to see the 15th living an adventure in some universe of classic novels from literature.
By the way, what stories would be cool for 15° to live, and which companion would be with him? Ruby or Belinda, or someone new to be an exclusive companion in the book?
I liked the Frankenstein one (it is the only one I have read). But I am a bit of the opposite—I don’t really understand the point of this series (and the icons series). They feel a bit strange to me.
I think 15 would be wonderful in one of these books. I’ve only read one (Doctor Who in Wonderland), but it’s one of my favourites, and I want to get into the rest at some point.
These really appeal to me and I have them all except the two most recent ones.
But I haven’t actually got around to reading any of them yet!
I have a vision of 15 in Wind in the Willows, addressing Mr. Badger as “babes” and trying to explain girly-pop to him.
Now I just need this immediately and every day I spend without it will be a disappointment!
I’ve only read one of them and didn’t really get the appeal of it at all…
But I appear to be in the minority with my disliking “The Wonderful Doctor of Oz” 
And what’s the point of having a surprise reveal of the villain 2/3rds of the way through when said villain is front and centre on the cover? 
That’s the surprise…no one expects TRUTH IN ADVERTISING!!!
I am in agreement with you, I do think we should get every main Doctor in this Range at least once. Especially now, with 15’s Era ‘over’, I think they could really do something great with it. Granted, I haven’t read all of them yet (mainly just two), but I really love the concept behind them and what I read so far has been excellent.
I do hope it would be Belinda, while I like Ruby, so far we haven’t gotten much EU Material with Belinda. I do think any Original Companions should be waited upon and maybe do for like the DWM Comics and/or other kind of Releases.
But yes, hopefully we got one with 15 sooner rather than later!
